This 4-Day Ha Giang Loop Tour is perfect for those who want to truly experience all the Ha Giang loop has to offer. With added excursions such as additional boat trip on the Nho Que River and northernmost areas that you can see the border and enjoy local life in Du Gia Village.
DAY 1 DAY 2 DAY 3 DAY 4Day before trip: Getting to Ha Giang
DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – YEN MINH TOWN – DONG VAN
Highlight on Ha Giang loop: Heaven Gate -Bac Sum Pass-Tham Ma Pass- H’mong King Palace
8:30 AM: Meeting your guide and easy rider then our brilliant Ha Giang Loop adventure begins. The road leads you to Bac Sum Pass, up to Heaven Gate, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and Tam Son town.
12:00 Pm Having lunch at local homestay in Nam Dam village. Short break and drive towards Dong Van, through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass. Indeed, the whole Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam. The landscape is composed of unlimited rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and breath-taking views. It also gives you the chance to experience the life of hill-tribe villages where local people works on the land. Visiting Hmong King’s Palace, a home of Vuong’s family in Sa Phin.
16:30 Pm Arrival Dong Van in quite late afternoon, enjoy a local Vietnamese dinner and live music, karaoke after a long day of mind blowing landscape views. At night time, free and easy before another day of adventures.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TOWN – THIEN HUONG VILLAGE – NHO QUE RIVER – LUNG CU FLAGPOINT – DONG VAN TOWN
Highlight on Ha Giang Loop: Thien Huong Village – Happiness Road – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Lung Cu Flagpoint – Dong Van Town
After breakfast we leave Dong Van Town to an old village of the Tay and Dzay people for hundred years named Thien Huong Village. You will feast your eyes towards The Ancient Banyan Tree and emerge yourself in winding roads around a serene village. We keep going to the Ma Pi Leng Pass, well known for its abrupt cliffs and breath-taking views. After that, head off to Nho Que river and enjoy a boat trip on emerald waters. Lung Cu Flagpoint, a monument to mark the northernmost point and a symbol of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam, is the next visit of the day The Lung Cu Flagpole. You will be able to see the China border and when you climb up, a line separates our country to the outsider.
In the end of the day, we go back to Dong Van Town and spend night in a hotel. You can definitely explore the old town at night time.

DAY 3: DONG VAN TOWN – MA PI LENG PASS – MEO VAC TOWN – DU GIA WATERFALL – DU GIA LOCAL VILALGE
Highlights: Happiness road – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Sky Path – Meo Vac Town – Du Gia Waterfall
9:00 Am We pass by the Happiness Road again and have the opportunity you’ll have the opportunity to trek the Sky Path, which offer panoramic view of Ma Pi Leng Pass. On the way to through the rustic villages and epic mountains of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho.
Back to Nature – we visit the waterfall where you can meditation and siwmming.
After that, we spend a night at Du Gia rural homestay, located in the middle of green rice fields. Here, we and new comers will have a really big party with homecooked dinner by the local host family. Don’t forget to try the “Happy Water” – the Corn Wine, which is so unique and brings your party to the next level.

DAY 4: DU GIA-LUNG TAM VILLAGE -HA GIANG-HANOI
Highlight on Ha Giang Loop: Good morning nature – walking around rice field – Lung Tam village.
On the last day of our journey, good morning and walking on beautiful village. Visit Lung Tam – The village is occupied by Hmong ethnic minorities, who are skillful textile products. We then cross Quan Ba town and have a look at the Nui Doi mountain. After crossing Sky Gate, we pass back by Bac Sum Pass and go back to Ha Giang city late afternoon,
4:30 PM Get on Comfort Limousine bus back to Hanoi Old quarter about 22:00 PM.

Due to limited vehicle space and the nature of accommodation, we ask that you limit yourself to a maximum of 10 kgs in a backpack or overnight bag.

Our Ha Giang Loop tours include easy-riders for a reason – largely because the roads on the Ha Giang Loop can be dangerous, often with many obstacles designed only for the most experienced drivers! It’s for this reason that we offer this tour with an easy-rider.
However, if you’re experienced on a motorbike and have an international driver’s license, we may allow you to drive for a period of time on easier roads. Please ask your easy-rider and they’ll allow at their discretion. We are not liable for any injuries so please ride at your own risk.
From Hanoi: The Ha Giang Loop trip departs from our Vietnam Cheers Hostel at 5 Au Trieu Street, Hanoi Old Quarter at 7:30 pm.
From Sapa to Ha Giang: if you are in Sapa, please come to our Sapa branch office (Add: 762 Dien Bien Phu Str., Sapa) at 7:00 PM. Our bus will pick you up from there.
From Ha Giang: We pick you up at any hostel in Ha Giang at 8:00 AM.
You will be eating local Vietnamese food prepared in various restaurants and accommodation along the way. If you are vegetarian, vegan or have any other dietary restrictions or allergies please inform us at the time of booking. We will be sure to accommodate you!
