Night 1: Getting to Ha Giang by Sleeper Bus

Journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall – Get ready for an exhilarating adventure to Ban Gioc Waterfall! Begin with a mini-workout as you climb 300 steps up to Phat Tich Truc Lam Pagoda. The panoramic views from the top are worth every step, offering a breathtaking perspective of the surrounding landscape. At the pagoda, immerse yourself in the rich history of the area while soaking in the serene ambiance. Then, descend to Ban Gioc Waterfall for an up-close experience with nature’s power. Hop on a sampan boat for a front-row seat to the awe-inspiring cascades, where you can fully appreciate the grandeur of this natural wonder.
Explore Nguom Ngao Cave – After soaking in the beauty of Ban Gioc, head to the nearby Nguom Ngao Cave. Wander through the extensive cave system, filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites, creating a mystical underground world.
Arrive at Homestay near Ban Gioc Waterfall in the late afternoon. Check-in and unwind in this cozy, welcoming home. DAY 5: Ban Gioc – Angel Eye Mountain – Cao Bang City – Hanoi
Morning Bliss – Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your homestay. Take in the peaceful morning atmosphere as you prepare for the final leg of your journey.
Journey to Angel Eye Mountain – Depart for Tra Linh, where you’ll visit the striking Angel Eye Mountain. This unique natural formation, with its circular hole at the summit, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding karst landscape. Depending on the season, enjoy kayaking (July-Sep) or trekking to fully immerse yourself in the scenery and capture unforgettable photos.
Scenic Ride to Cao Bang City – Continue your journey towards Cao Bang City, winding through the lush green valleys and dramatic limestone formations. Arrive in Cao Bang by noon, enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi
Return to Hanoi – After lunch, embark on your return journey to Hanoi. Relax and reflect on your adventure as you travel through the picturesque countryside. Arrive in Hanoi arround 7:30 PM, where your journey concludes.

Step 3: We will send you a pre-payment link through email where you can make the deposit ($50) for the Trip.
Step 4: The rest of the payment ($159) can be paid at Vietnam Cheers Hostel. It should be paid 100% 48 hours before trip departure.
Passport, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, warm clothes for the cooler months (Nov thru March), mosquito repellent, Some Cash, Phone with internet Sim-card, camera, a healthy appetite and a good attitude!
Travel Insurance is NOT included. We strongly recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on confirmed departure dates.
Fees will be charged in event of booking cancellations:
- Before 48 hours: 25% of booking cost
- 24hours-48hours: 50% of booking cost
- within 24hours or no shows: 100% of booking cost
On the motorbike tour itself, please just bring what you need for 5 days only,
Due to limited vehicle space and the nature of accommodation, we ask that you limit yourself to a maximum of 10 kgs in a backpack or overnight bag.
We’re happy to offer you free luggage storage at Vietnam Cheers Hostel in Hanoi.
Our tours include easy-riders for a reason – largely because the roads on the Ha Giang Loop can be dangerous, often with many obstacles designed only for the most experienced drivers! It’s for this reason that we offer this tour with an easy-rider.
However, if you’re experienced on a motorbike and have an international driver’s license, we may allow you to drive for a period of time on easier roads. Please ask your easy-rider and they’ll allow at their discretion. We are not liable for any injuries so please ride at your own risk.
From Hanoi: The trip departs from our Vietnam Cheers Hostel at 5 Au Trieu Street, Hanoi Old Quarter at 7:30 pm.
- if you stay elsewhere in Hanoi, we will pick you up at 7:00 PM
From Sapa to Ha Giang: if you are in Sapa, please contact us for help. Our bus will pick you up from there.
From Ha Giang: We pick you up at any hostel in Ha Giang at 8:00 AM.
You will be eating local Vietnamese food prepared in various restaurants and accommodation along the way. If you are vegetarian, vegan or have any other dietary restrictions or allergies please inform us at the time of booking. We will be sure to accommodate you!
Our trips are fairly active, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. If you have any doubts about your suitability for our trips, please check with our Travel Desk before making a booking. NOTE: Activities vary in duration and grade depending on the availability.
All online bookings need to be confirmed and paid for in full 24 hours in advance. If not, Ha Giang Motorbike Tour will regard it as nonattendance. You will not be able to join the tour and will NOT be refunded.
