DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – boat trip on river – YEN MINH TOWN -DONG VAN

8:30 AM: After the the breakfast at our hostel in Ha Giang. Hop on the open air Army Jeep car and your Ha Giang Army Jeep Tour starts. Embark on a journey towards Bac Sum Pass, making your way up to Heaven Gate, where you can soak in the breathtaking views of the twin mountains and Tam Son Town. After a lunch break in Yen Minh Town, continue your drive towards Dong Van, passing through Chin Khoanh Pass. Mesmerized by the magnificent Dong Van Karst, a remarkable geo-heritage site adorned with endless rice terraces, limestone rocks, and awe-inspiring vistas.This is also where you’ll get the first glimpse into the life of the local hill tribe people as they work on the surrounding land. Next, explore Hmong King’s Palace, a century-old residence belonging to Vuong Chinh Duc, the King of H’mong people.
16:30 Pm arrive at a cozy family-owned hotel in Dong Van, where Vietnamese local dinner awaits. You can also try some karaoke with the friendly local families.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TOWN-MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – DU GIA LOCAL VILLAGE
(Highlights: Happiness road – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Sky Walk – Meo Vac Town – Du Gia Waterfall )
After breakfast, hit on a journey from Dong Van Town to the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the “King” of mountain passes in Vietnam. Marvel at its towering cliffs and breathtaking views, reaching an impressive altitude of 2,000m. Take in the stunning scenery overlooked from the open air Army Jeep car and capture memorable photographs during occasional stops along the pass. Trek along the Sky Path for a panoramic 360° view of Ma Pi Leng Pass, overlooked from the turquoise waters of the Nho Que River, surrounded by majestic mountains. Continue through charming villages and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Easy Online Booking

Step 2: Once registered, our dedicated Support team will contact you within 2 hours.
Step 3: We will send you a pre-payment link through email where you can make the deposit ($50) for the Trip.
Step 4: The rest of the payment ($159) can be paid at Vietnam Cheers Hostel. It should be paid 100% 48 hours before trip departure.
Passport, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, warm clothes for the cooler months (Nov thru March), mosquito repellent, Some Cash, Phone with internet Sim-card, camera, a healthy appetite and a good attitude!
Travel Insurance is NOT included. We strongly recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on confirmed departure dates.
Fees will be charged in event of booking cancellations:
- Before 48 hours: 25% of booking cost
- 24hours-48hours: 50% of booking cost
- within 24hours or no shows: 100% of booking cost
On the motorbike tour itself, please just bring what you need for 3 days only,
Due to limited vehicle space and the nature of accommodation, we ask that you limit yourself to a maximum of 10 kgs in a backpack or overnight bag.
We’re happy to offer you free luggage storage at Vietnam Cheers Hostel in Hanoi.
From Hanoi: The trip departs from our Vietnam Cheers Hostel at 5 Au Trieu Street, Hanoi Old Quarter at 7:30 pm.
- if you stay elsewhere in Hanoi, we will pick you up at 7:00 PM
From Sapa to Ha Giang: if you are in Sapa, please contact us for help. Our bus will pick you up from there.
From Ha Giang: We pick you up at any hostel in Ha Giang at 8:00 AM.
You will be eating local Vietnamese food prepared in various restaurants and accommodation along the way. If you are vegetarian, vegan or have any other dietary restrictions or allergies please inform us at the time of booking. We will be sure to accommodate you!
Our trips are fairly active, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. If you have any doubts about your suitability for our trips, please check with our Travel Desk before making a booking. NOTE: Activities vary in duration and grade depending on the availability.
All online bookings need to be confirmed and paid for in full 24 hours in advance. If not, Ha Giang Motorbike Tour will regard it as nonattendance. You will not be able to join the tour and will NOT be refunded.
